The California JPIA is moving its 26th Annual Risk Management Educational Forum to an in-person event at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in San Diego from October 6 – 8. This year’s Forum will feature keynote speaker, Captain Richard Phillips, author of A Captain’s Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALS, and Dangerous Day s at Sea, detailing his dramatic encounter with modern-day pirates and his remarkable rescue.
Registration will open later in the coming weeks. Note that registration will be limited to public agency officials and employees, and the Authority’s business partners.
