The Authority is pleased to announce the launch of its newly designed website, cjpia.org. Launched November 4th, the goal of the new website is to create a more user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality for Authority members.
“We are excited about the launch of our new website. Our objective was to create an improved website that would provide members with a refreshed look, enhanced navigation tools, and easier access to information they need,” said Chief Executive Officer Jon Shull. “The website showcases the benefits and services we provide to members.”
One new feature of the website is the FAQ page. The FAQ page is a resource that provides information and direction to frequently asked questions from members:
- Where do I find a copy of our MOC or Certificate of Coverage?
- How do I request an EOC?
- We just had a major incident in our agency, can you please help?
- Do I have to offer an injured employee modified duty?
Another new “single-click” feature, Report A Claim, gives users the ability to report a claim directly to the Authority’s third-party administrators for claims for third-party liability, workers’ compensation injuries or illnesses, property claims, and other programs. Additional features include a Meetings and Agenda page with current committee dates and agendas, and a Resource page with access to the Authority’s newsletter, white papers, and policy template library.
Along with the launch of the new website, the Authority has implemented an updated myJPIA learning management system. The new system makes it easier for members to manage their accounts and register for upcoming training offerings and Authority events. A new region-based calendar makes it easier for members to find training and events near their agencies.
In addition to being ADA compliant, the new website is mobile-responsive, giving members the opportunity to easily access Authority resources on their smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
More features will be added in time as the website improves. Watch the “Introducing the new Authority website” video for a brief overview.
