Lockout Tagout - Refresher Training
This course serves as initial training for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures as described in Cal/OSHA regulation Title 8, Section 3314. Hazardous energy control procedures are reviewed for employees maintaining, repairing, and operating machines that can unexpectedly release energy. Topics covered include the roles of authorized and affected employees, the importance and purpose of energy control procedures, requirements for lockout devices and tags, and group lockout procedures. The purpose and elements required of LOTO written procedures and program, as well as the components of annual review inspection and testing of LOTO procedures are described.
