Respirator Certification

This is a comprehensive training that covers respiratory hazards, types of respirators and their limitations, care and maintenance procedures, and implementation of a respiratory protection program. The agency shall have on file a current medical evaluation for each potential user to determine the individuals ability to use a respirator before the individual is fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace. A qualitative fit test (QLFT) will be conducted on each potential user to assess the adequacy of respirator fit. Please note Each attendee must supply their workplace respirator for the fit test.
