Workers' Compensation 101
This workshop provides an overview of workers compensation laws and benefits and tools for member agency employees to effectively manage claims. Geared toward supervisors, managers, and staff in risk management and human resources, the workshop presents the types of claims allowed under WC laws, the importance of transitional return to work programs, reporting red flags to reduce malingering and fraud, the basics of first aid and OSHA reporting, and how to report claims online to Sedgwick (formerly York).
