CPR/AED/First-Aid Safety

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR And AED Training is designed to provide non healthcare professionals with the training needed to recognize and provide high-quality CPR, proficiently use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and render first aid in a safe, timely and effective manner. This training is required every two years. The Authority offers this training to the following job classifications, and the training meets the regulatory requirements of Tree Trimmers, CalOSHA Title 8, Section 3421(j), Confined Space Attendants Entrants, CalOSHA Title 8, Section 3421(j), and those employees whose job analyses specifically require CPR certification. Regulation CalOSHA Title 8, Section 3400, IIPP. Please note that American Heart Association certification cards are now available electronically with the process for distribution explained by the instructor during the training.
