Public Works Academy

  • Academy

This specialized academy, geared for experienced Public Works supervisors and managers, emphasizes best practices needed to manage Public Works risk exposures effectively. Public Works has some of the most significant exposures to the agency. Due to that fact, we have created a new approach to this academy by offering three full days of training that helps the seasoned supervisor and manager with the tools necessary to mitigate losses within their division. Registration is free of charge for Members and includes three nights at the hotel, breakfast, lunch, and all training materials.

If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate, please contact the California JPIA training division by email, training@cjpia.org, within two business days of the training date, noting that The Authority is closed on Fridays.
