Registration is open for the Authority’s new Public Safety Academy. This educational event takes place August 22-24, 2023, in San Diego and offers police and fire command staff an opportunity to learn best practices for managing risk within their public safety departments. The Academy features a comprehensive program, including sessions on new laws, constitutional policing issues, reducing workplace stress, and more. With limited space available, California JPIA members are urged to secure their spot by visiting the event website and submitting a “request to register.”
