Audrey Cray, Pacific Grove’s finance and risk manager, received the Authority’s Capstone Award at the California JPIA’s 28th Annual Risk Management Educational Forum. Besides being a proactive risk manager across city departments and operations, Cray was instrumental in spearheading the city’s Safety Incentive Program, requiring departments to participate in basic safety activities and rewards employees who go above and beyond the standard requirements.
The Capstone Award is presented annually to an individual at a member agency who exemplifies the practice of risk management by supporting risk management efforts, coordinating risk management goals and programs, and mitigating risk exposures for their agency.
