The California JPIA is looking for an intern to join their communications team this summer. This paid internship will last for 10 to 12 weeks and could be extended if schedules allow. The position is primarily remote, allowing for work from home.
The intern will help the Communications Department improve the Authority’s communication with its members. Work tasks and responsibilities will provide real-world experience and the opportunity to build valuable skills.
These tasks include:
- Helping to organize communications materials, graphics, and images
- Writing and editing posts for social media
- Providing research support for digital newsletter articles
Interns will also join team meetings and strategy discussions, help update and create content for various webpages, and may draft stories for The Authority newsletter and news items.
