Meetings & Agendas

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors elects Executive Committee officers and receives reports on the affairs of the Authority. The California JPIA asks members to annually certify a designated California JPIA Director and Alternate(s) before the Board of Directors meeting, which is held each year in July. In February, an email containing directions on completing the certification was sent to each member agency’s clerk. Members who have not yet completed their certification are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee provides policy and governance direction to the Authority’s staff on the California JPIA’s programs and services.

Managers Committee

The Managers Committee carries the voice of member managers and chief executives, providing guidance and recommendations to the Executive Committee and staff regarding programs and service delivery.

Finance Officers Committee

The Finance Officers Committee carries the voice of member finance officers, playing an important role in advising the Authority on investment policy and performance, budget, cost allocation, and general finance-related issues.

Risk Managers Committee

The Risk Managers Committee carries the voice of member risk managers and supports the multi-faceted roles risk managers play within their organizations.

Minutes

Meeting minutes are posted to the website after they have been approved by the respective committee. If a discrepancy exists between official secretary minutes on file and those found on the website, the minutes on file at the Authority prevail.
