California JPIA Launches Supervisor Essential Skills Training Program

The California JPIA’S Supervisor Essential Skills Training Program is now accepting applications for its inaugural 2024 session. Aimed at public sector managers and supervisors, the program provides essential skills to navigate the dynamic demands of their roles.

Designed for supervisors at all levels, the program offers nine one-day, in-person courses covering topics like communication, conflict management, and diversity management. Participants must attend all courses, scheduled from February to November 2024, at various California locations.

Registration is limited, and interested parties must apply. Acceptance notifications will be sent at least two weeks before the first course begins.

Key registration deadlines are:

  • Track 1, Location – Poway: January 17
  • Track 2, Location – La Quinta: January 24
  • Tracks 3 & 4, Locations – La Puente & Goleta: January 31
