The California JPIA hosted its Management Academy in March at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles. Over two and a half days, the event attracted 50 participants representing 35 member agencies. Diving into important topics such as the role of the public sector supervisor, claims prevention, conflict resolution, and leadership credibility, attendees praised the insightful sessions led by expert speakers. They also appreciated the chance to connect and exchange experiences with peers.
The next Management Academy is scheduled for September 17–19, 2024.
The Authority’s academies are multi-day training seminars tailored to specific public sector disciplines. They provide a platform for attendees to not only enhance their skills but also engage in meaningful discussions about real-world challenges and triumphs alongside fellow professionals.
