The California JPIA’s Management Academy, which is geared toward entry-level managers and supervisors, will be held September 20-22, 2022.
The academy provides participants with unique approaches to help improve the performance, motivation, and commitment of employees in an ever more complex and regulated employment environment. Attendees will explore their role as a manager or supervisor, understand how values and ethics impact decisions, review a decision-making process appropriate for public sector managers, learn the four elements of effective performance appraisals, and more.
