2023 ACADEMY DATES COMING SOON!

SUMMARY

The California JPIA’s Risk Management Academy was created for members having primary risk management responsibility and that manage their agency’s risk exposure. It focuses on providing the essential building blocks to develop, establish, and embed risk management as a business process within your agency. With best practices in mind, this academy also provides participants with a better understanding of the Authority tools and resources, along with skills necessary to achieve buy-in from upper-management to create and support a healthy risk management culture.

In an interactive environment, participants join California JPIA risk managers and staff in discussing how to better manage their agency risk by understanding the basic concepts, principles, and applications of risk management, while exploring innovative, effective and creative answers to their questions.
